The reason is that the earth goes around the moon as well at the same time as the moon goes around the earth.
In the opposite side of the earth seen from the month, the centrifugal force from the earth to the space becomes stronger than gravitation of the earth.
Therefore the seawater goes up to jump out to the space.
As a result, sea level rise and the tide rises.
