Math Problem : G.4 Hand out apples, oranges, and bananas

When I tried to hand out equally to children 43 apples, 60 oranges and 48 bananas, three of apples remained and lack of four oranges.
All bananas were handed out.
How many children are there ?

Answer
8 persons

Solution
As for apples, the number I can hand out with no remainder is 40 ( 43 - 3 = 40).
As for oranges, the number I can hand out with no lack is 64 (60 + 4 - 64).
Then the number of children is the common measures of 40, 64, and 48 which are 1, 2, 4, 8.
Since the number should be larger than 4, it is 8 persons.
