KK.18 Sum of number of spots of dice

The spots from one to six are drawn on each face of a die and the spots on opposite sides of the dice is to be total seven. 

Now, one connected solid is made by attaching each face of the dice of the same size. 
At this time, the overlapping faces are called “ Inside face “ and other faces are called             “ Outside face “. 

Answer the following questions.

(1) When solids are made by connecting three dice as shown form of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. 

As for each solid, when the sum of the spots of Outside face becomes the maximum, find the sum total.

(2) When five dice are connected, the solid of various forms will be made.
(2)-1 When the sum total of the spots of Outside face of the solid of Fig. 3 is to be maximum, find the sum total.

(2)-2 When the solid of various forms is considered besides Fig. 3, the maximum number of the sum total of the spots of Outside face may change. 

Find the sum total of the spots of the solid of which the sum total number becomes the maximum in them.
